Stillhouse Lake
by Rachel Caine
I love thriller/mystery stories, but I usually don't give them 5 stars because they can be predictable and formulaic. This book, Stillhouse Lake By Rachel Caine is the exception.

This is an intelligent book. The only thing I could criticize was that perhaps it was a bit too long, and dragged a bit in the middle. But it definitely kept my interest. Happiness Falls is a thesis on sociology and philosophy.

I love everything about this book, from the beautiful cover to the complete WTF I felt and thought throughout this entire novel.

This is the light novel version of the popular series. Maomao is the adoptive daughter of an apothecary who ends up being kidnapped and sold to the royal palace as a servant.

Three estranged sisters must live together on their father's ranch in Montana for one year, per his last Will. Mystery and romance ensue for all of the women. Good Read!
