Voter Registration

All Kane County residents must register within the county to vote at the Library. Once registered in Kane County, residents can early vote at any polling place in the county. 

Kane county residents can register to vote at early voting sites during their early voting hours.

In order to register, you must:

  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Reside in the county for at least 30 days prior to the election
  • Be at least 18 years old by the general election.

You also must bring two forms of identification. These include but are not limited to:

  • Driver’s license
  • Social security card
  • Current utility bill
  • Credit card
  • Student identification card
  • Union membership card

Be sure to search using your last name and your house number OR street name. Filling out both fields in part 2 will create an error.

Early Voting

Early Voting will be held at the Library from March 9 – 12, 12 – 7 pm.

Election Day

 Town and Country Public Library is an Election Day Polling Location. On election day, those who have not voted early need to go to their specific local precinct to cast a ballot.

Election Day: Tuesday, March 17, 2026
Polls Open: 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
