Elektra is a stand-out to me as a lover of all things mythological. Knowing the history/myth of Helen of Troy, Agamemnon, and Apollo, this retelling stood out as well-written and suspenseful, even though it is a familiar story to fans of Greek mythology. Curses, fates, gods and goddesses all come together in this book with just the right amount of typical myth violence, war, and feminism.
