This manga series follows a teenage girl who becomes a god after her dad leaves her homeless and a god gives his position to her. She finds her new family at the shrine, learns about becoming a god and frequently has her safety threatened. At first, other magical creatures look down on her, but they learn to love and adore her. This is both a comedy and a romance manga. Nanami, the main character, falls in love with her beautiful familiar, who has no interest in humans. When Nanami visits the past, she learns more about him than he knows. Tomoe, her familiar, goes through a lot of personal growth. The ending of the manga collection leaves your heart warm.
