The story is written similar to a rolling stones interview or a band documentary. It follows the story of a band that becomes huge in the 70s. Each character has such a strong and distinct personality, and since it is written like a bunch of interviews, you get contradicting statements for some things. It covers topics like tumultuous relationships, drug issues, family issues, and world problems with the Vietnam war going on.
