I had never heard of this book before a friend told me I should read it. Published in 2022, it is surprising that there is no hype on BookTok, nothing on Insta or FB that I have seen. Yet, there it is, a very highly rated book on Goodreads (4.27 stars); I decided to give it a go. Low and behold - it was one of my favorite books of 2024.
A dual history storyline with an undeniable connection - this beautifully written heart-wrenching story is one that I didn't want to end, and will not quickly forget.
