Event Details

Take advantage of this FREE Rx Drop Off event sponsored in partnership with Rep. Dan Ugaste, Sen. Don DeWitte & the Elburn Police Department. This is an outdoor event that allows you to remain in your vehicle. Residents are encouraged to safely dispose of unused, unwanted, or expired prescription drugs. Please bring medications in sealed plastic bag if possible. Brochures on state programs will also be available.

Accepted Medications:

  • Tablets, capsules and other solid forms of prescriptions
  • Patches
  • Vaping devices and cartridges (lithium batteries removed)
  • Pet medications
  • Prescription ointments
  • Vitamins

Restricted Items:

  • Liquids (including intravenous solutions)
  • Syringes
  • Needles
  • Illegal drugs
