During the summer of 2021, Town and Country Public Library District surveyed the community to understand our strengths and identify opportunities for improvement and growth. 580 community members took the time to complete our survey. Surveys were also completed by staff and Board members. Three community feedback sessions were offered to discuss the results in person. The results identified key areas regarding space, collection, services, and fiscal stewardship for our library to focus on over the next two years.
Using these key areas, Board and staff identified strategic goals and refined the vision and mission of the library. The plan was presented to the Board of Trustees for approval in April of 2022.
