Voter Registration
All Kane County residents must register within the county to vote at the Library. Once registered in Kane County, residents can early vote at any polling place in the county. Click here for a comprehensive list of voter registration information.
You can register to vote by filling out this online application.
Online Registration is closed and will reopen on April 6, 2023.
In order to register, you must:
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Reside in the county for at least 30 days prior to the election
- Be at least 18 years old by the general election.
You also must bring two forms of identification. These include but are not limited to:
- Driver’s license
- Social security card
- Current utility bill
- Credit card
- Student identification card
- Union membership card

Early Voting
Kane County Early Voting Locations
Early Voting will be available at Town & Country Public Library from March 27- 30, 12- 7 p.m.
Election Day
Town and Country Public library is an Election Day Polling Location. On election day, those who have not early voted need to go to their specific local precinct to cast a ballot.
Election Day: April 4
Polls Open: 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
