All Kane County residents must register within the county to vote at the Library. Once registered in Kane County, residents can early vote at any polling place in the county. Click here for a comprehensive list of voter registration information.
Online Voter Registration ended on october 18th. YOu can still register in person at an early voting location by speaking with an election judge.
In order to register, you must:
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Reside in the county for at least 30 days prior to the election
- Be at least 18 years old by the general election.
You also must bring two forms of identification. These include but are not limited to:
- Driver’s license
- Social security card
- Current utility bill
- Credit card
- Student identification card
- Union membership card

Early Voting will be available at Town & Country Public Library the last week of October.
Early Voting Dates and Times:
Monday, October 26th: 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, October 27th: 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, October 28th: 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Thursday, October 29th: 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
The 2020 Presidential Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd.
On election day, those who have not early voted need to go to their specific local precinct to cast a ballot.
Polls will be open from 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
