STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in the four specific disciplines in an interdisciplinary and applied approach. Rather than teach the four disciplines as separate subjects, STEM combines them into cohesive learning based on real-world applications.
Each week, the Town & Country Public Library will be offering a new STEM challenge for tweens and teens! Each challenge will require your thinking cap as your project will be entirely unique to you. We will lay out the ground rules and the materials needed, but the rest will be up to you!
